We tied the knot over 25 years ago while still in college in Texas. Our shared passion for travel has grown immensely over the years. Serving in the military for over 20 years allowed us to experience life in Europe and the Pacific, enabling us to fully immerse ourselves in different cultures while living and traveling overseas. After the military, we worked and lived in the Middle East, which provided another unique opportunity to broaden our horizons.
What began as a budget-focused approach to exploring the world while raising our two daughters has evolved over time. Now, as empty nesters, our travel preferences have shifted towards more luxurious experiences, though we still maintain our frugal mindset.
We feel truly blessed to have traveled to over 65 countries together across six of the seven continents. In 2024, we took an entire year off to travel. Our journey began with 10 months exploring Southeast Asia, followed by a 32-day cruise from Singapore to Los Angeles to return home. Once back in the United States, we embarked on a cross-country road trip, starting at the beginning of Route 66 and ending on the coast of South Carolina.
During our year of travels, we had the privilege of helping many people, regardless of their budget, achieve their dream vacations. After extensive research, we decided to partner with Dream Vacations, enabling us to continue sharing our experiences and assisting others in exploring the world—no matter their budget.
